The Story of Elf and Clive (Part 1)

Note: Some of  these following pics are older, and pretty low quality. They were taken when I was playing the Sims on my non-gaming laptop, so graphics look like crap. However, they are part of the foundation of my neighbourhood, so I’m posting them as is. Hopefully the story behind them will be more significant. I will have nicer Sim pics of everyone here later on.

Clive stayed in a crappy dorm in college because his dad, Senator Garret Baird,  wanted him to get through college “honestly” without any help from him. That didn’t matter to Clive.. his old man was spending too much time campaigning and ignoring his mother to bother with Clive anyway. Clive couldn’t say he enjoyed his college years though. He studied a lot to keep on top of his grades and there was too much drama.

Introducing some of his roommates, and future citizens of SimTopi:

Daniel Roshenko
Daniel likes to party… he’s a popularity Sim. He and Clive got along great though.

Cody Langdon (the one wearing glasses, on the right)
started seeing townie Gwen Kimbrall. Last we hear from them, they’re engaged.

Luis Duarte
serious about school, good hearted and very fun loving. He was seeing the cheerleader all through college.

(He’s a guy, who wouldn’t watch.)

Audrey White

Audrey is the resident goth artist. Beneath her emo insecurity, that ugly morticia gown and all that black lipstick, she really was a pretty girl.  Clive thought so too…

Audrey liked Clive.. just not in that way.

At least Clive didn’t seem to anger Audrey like Daniel did. For whatever reason, she couldn’t stand him and the things he did annoyed her, like leaving his dirty dishes and half eaten pizzas lying around.

It’s awfully inconvenient to develop a crush on your roommate when you’re still dating your steady girlfriend from highschool who incidentally started going to the same college.

Elf’s style was definitely more feminine as she grew older. The dorm she managed to get a place at was the Suzuki Eco dorms, an experimental building that used green energy and sustainable resources. It was a neat place to live and only serious students were able to secure a dorm there.

Despite Clive’s crush on Audrey, he still continued his relationship with Elf, and even taking it further.

Elf was happy to have Clive around too. However right now, her studies took precedence. She decided to major in biology, hoping to eventually become a natural scientist.  She wasn’t really sure that she should settle down with Clive anytime soon. She relished her independence.

Back at home, Daniel was having yet another one of his parties (that always inevitably ends up getting busted up by the cops).   Late one night, he and Audrey had a bit too much to drink…

The cheerleader couldn’t keep her mouth shut. Soon gossip went around the entire dorm. When Clive found out, he couldn’t help but be hurt about it despite the fact that there wasn’t even a relationship between these two.

Truth of the matter, Audrey liked Clive too. But she liked their friendship and didn’t want anything to get in the way of things. And in any case, she had gotten to know Elf and became close friends with her.

Still, as a testament as to how screwed up she felt she was, she continued a physical relationship with a guy she barely liked.  Eventually, through all the woohooing, she and Daniel managed to find a way to get a long.  Clive would have to grow up and get over it.
