Note: These following pics are older, and pretty low quality. They were taken when I was playing the Sims on my non-gaming laptop, so graphics look like crap. However, they are part of the foundation of my neighbourhood, so I’m posting them as is. Hopefully the story behind them will be more significant. I will have nicer Sim pics of everyone here later on.
Clive Baird is the eldest son of the Baird family.
Elf Marlen is the eldest daughter of the Marlen clan.
Originally this Sim-god had it in her head to match join these two very different families through Elf and Clive, but unfortunately the Sim-God is pretty petty and often bored. Drama got in the way.
They did have a wonderful relationship all through highschool, however. Clive is the older Sim. He was very active and interested in sports. When they were kids, he used to tease the younger Elf, who lived down the street because she was always odd looking and smelled funny. However, once Elf got to highschool, she was still tomboyish and eccentric, but it was still good to have a familiar face around. They were first friends and then one day, Clive asked her out on a date.
The two shared eachother’s first kiss.
And soon went steady after that.
The two didn’t have a lot of privacy however. Elf’s house was very small. They recently built a shack to give her Uncle Nate a place to stay after her younger brothers grew up and took over his old room. There was no TV, just a radio and a bubble blower for entertainment. Elf’s parents raised her and her brothers very simplistically.
As for Clive, there was always activity in their bungalow. His dad was constantly on the phone campaigning, as he did not yet have his own office. His mother just had another baby, his youngest sister Jodie. His other siblings, Jessie and Craig kept bringing their friends over.
So whenever he could, Clive would “steal” his dad’s pickup truck and he and Elf would just drive around the place.
Kids will be kids.
They made an odd couple, but neither of them cared. Both families were very supportive of their relationships. Talula, Clive’s mother, was particularly fond of Elf. But soon, Clive went off to college and things would change, as it always does.
