maxis_taste challenge #16: "Theme me up"
I decided to go with the infamous Goth family of some strange steampunk sort-of-apocalyptic period where Mortimer's mastered the elixir of youth and Bella has never gone away.

Yeah making over a young Mortimer was pretty fun. And while Cassandra's one of my favourites, Don's my least favourite Maxis characters lol, but for some reason including him in this shoot was appropriate. :)

Omgosh! This makeover is SO DAMN COOL! ♥ Mortimer was really creepy with such paleness and a blanked out eye! 8) I like that Cassandra seemed to be inching away from Don while he was trying to hold her back or something, lol.

LOL, I love that about this Mortimer...it's the evil mad scientist look, I think. :) And Cassandra and Don has never had the most perfect relationship. ;)

There was a story up on maxis_taste recently which alluded to the Goths being from the south, which sort of inspired this makeover. I totally could imagine Bella as being an old fashioned Louisiana southern belle. Thanks :)

Aww, I've only just found this! It's amazing.

This look suits the Goths so much, Cassie looks fierce and I love her unsure face in the presence of Don. Alex is adorable - that hair is perfect for him! And Bella and Morty, where do I start. Just gorgeous. Plus I love the grungy background for them! :)

I'm absolutely digging Mortimer looking all venom and malice with a touch of "I never leave the lab or I'm related to a Vamp" paleness.

Add to that, this is the first time ever I think I'd ever want to play Cassandra, let alone not find some horrid, slow way of making her die, this is a bloody fantastic job!

Definitely the "I never leave the lab" paleness. ;) I thought it suited him in the Steampunk context.

I really love Cassandra. I envision her here as some kind of badass gunslinger vigilante who just ended up falling for the wrong man. ;)
