Just to make it a teeny bit easier for possibly any readers just jumping in, I've written out a chapter by chapter summary. I've attempted to keep all the important points you need to know, so this may even help up-to-date readers with quick reminders of stuff that's already happened that may be important to current and future chapters. I'll link each chapter summary from the Table of Contents.

Prologue
Willow Marlen is a little girl with an average family and an average life (so far). She lives in a condo with her mother, Elf, her father, Colin and her older brothers, twins Rowan and Linden. She keeps to herself, reads books and has a curious nature about the world around her. She also has an imaginary friend that she has started talking to.
One afternoon, Willow disappears under her mother's care. Elf and Colin call the police, and Elf's brothers come over to help and provide comfort.
Many hours later, Willow becomes aware that she had wandered far away from home and finds herself in a park. A young man comes by to try to help. He introduces himself as "Wesley". Willow politely calls him "Mr. Wesley", even though he corrects her. Concerned for Willow's well being, Wesley brings her home. He leaves and disappears just as Willow greets her family.

Wesley: Okay, how about I take you home then. What's your name?
Willow: My name is Willow. Willow Marlen.
Wesley: That's a pretty name.
Willow: Thank you, Mr. Wesley.
Wesley: Just Wesley.
Willow: My name is Willow. Willow Marlen.
Wesley: That's a pretty name.
Willow: Thank you, Mr. Wesley.
Wesley: Just Wesley.
Up on the rooftop of the building, Wesley watches as Willow is reunited safely with her family. A witch named Clara berates him for ruining her "Coven's" plans to abduct the child, and further accuses him of doing it to spite her. Wesley tells her that she's full of herself, transforms into a bat and leaves prompting Clara to call him "the worst vampire ever" which Wesley does not deny.
Chapter 1: Happy Endings
Wesley is on the hunt for blood sustenaince, but it goes wrong when his victim dies. Wesley, who has never killed before, is shaken with remorse and tries to plead with Death for his victim's life. Death refuses and Wesley is left with his guilt. Clara finds this an opportune time to confront him and offer him a "deal".
Years later, Cecilia Baird is getting ready to move to her new home at the Sim State University campus. She reminisces about her life at home, how perfect her family had been with her wealthy father, Clive Baird, her famous mother, Denise, and a wise older sister (Jasmine) and a cousin (Gabriel) who took care of her. But her parents eventually got divorced and her mother moved away leaving Cecilia bitter.
She and her father, Clive, say a short good-bye before she leaves for University with her sister, Jasmine. The cover of a magazine she leaves in her room has a full photo of her mother kissing a younger stranger, the captions implying that she had an affair.

Chapter 2: Old Friends
Cecilia gets settled into her University life, joining the Tr-Var sorority and moving into the mansion. Disillusioned by her last few years, she turns out mean-spirited. Willow Marlen, now in her senior year of college, ends up being on the wrong end of Cecilia's cattiness. Willow brushes it off and spends the rest of her time hanging out with Jasmine, her best friend.

Willow: I found it in the library of all places. It's weird, it was just sitting there. But it has instructions on the art of necronomy. Look.. here's a drawing of an ancient contraption and the ancient simlish ritual that you need to do in order to raise the dead.
Jasmine: Are we going to do any resurrecting the dead this weekend? It'd be nice to know if you're going to bring about the zombie apocalypse. I should get better shoes for that.
Jasmine: Are we going to do any resurrecting the dead this weekend? It'd be nice to know if you're going to bring about the zombie apocalypse. I should get better shoes for that.
While they're hanging out, Adrian Duarte, an old friend that Willow knew from highschool, comes up to see Willow and is introduced to Jasmine.
Willow has been spending her time at college being studious and helpful. She hasn't told anyone else yet that on top of her many studies, assignments and classes, that she has also been practicing witchcraft at an amateur level.
Cecilia and the Tri-Var girls throw a party later on that evening. Jasmine, their cousin Gabriel, and Adrian attend.
The party is ruined when Rowan Marlen, Willow's brash and hot headed older brother, crashes the party. It's eventually broken up and everyone goes seperate ways.
Later on that night (early morning), Willow is surprised Rowan passed out drunk in the front courtyard of her dorm. Rowan and Gabriel had been drinking at a nearby bar after the party ended. Gabriel, who also lives at Willow’s dorm, had no idea where else to bring him.
Chapter 3: Waking Up
Willow dreams of the first time meeting her counsellor, Miss Cordial, and hearing her voice waking her as she's lying in a room while a fire surrounds her.
She wakes up to find Rowan with her, hung over from the night before. She tries to "heal" him with magic, which Rowan grudgingly allows. Her spell makes him sick instead, but he does feel better after it passes. As Rowan leaves, Willow again reminds him that he can't tell anyone else about her magic.
A week later, Jasmine gets a phone call from her mother, Denise. Denise tells her that she's back in town and wants to catch up. Jasmine is conflicted about this, after all Denise was the one who cheated on their father and just left without saying goodbye.
She takes her anger out at the gym, where Adrian meets up with her. Adrian has recently moved in to her dorm and finds a sparring partner in Jasmine. They spar, Jasmine "wins" their friendly match.

She realizes afterward that she is finding Adrian attractive, but she hesitates on those feelings when Willow comes by. She sees how Adrian reacts to Willow and decides that despite her initial feelings, she'd let Willow and Adrian spend time together without her.
Chapter 4: The Invitation
Willow reminisces about a conversation with her counsellor, Miss Cordial. She remembers talking about her early highschool life and how others used to make fun of her for being so odd. Adrian, whom she had just met in class, was the only one who defended her, telling off her bullies.
Present day, Jasmine is trying to invite Willow to her mother's show, but Willow isn't particularly fond of going to those kinds of things. Unexpectedly, their cousins (Willow's uncle and Jasmine's aunt are married) show up at the SSU Student Union.

At her dorm, Gabriel, on Jasmine's request, continues to try to get Willow to accept their invitation to Denise's show. Unable to turn him down, she reluctantly accepts, trying to forget an unfortunate moment when she was a teenager where she had been the subject of an awful prank after accepting an invitation.
Chapter 5: Prelude
Denise is having brunch with Kestrel Marlen, and he implies that she has been avoiding reconnecting with her family or enjoying any kind of social life at all. She avoids the conversation, but after he leaves, she reminisces about why she had let her career go, and why she's been so reclusive. She remembers the party where she was caught in the arms of a young stranger.

What neither Denise, Clive or Lydia saw that night was the witch, Clara sitting further away observing everything quietly and patiently.
Chapter 6: Tonight
That night, Gabriel and Willow has dinner before they meet Jasmine at Denise's show. At dinner, Gabriel and Willow get to know each other a little better, and after a few drinks, Gabriel finds out that she might have a some kind of romantic tie to Adrian.

They meet up with Jasmine and Cecilia at the show. By that time, they're both a little drunk, though Willow a little more than Gabriel is. Jasmine and Cecilia are reunited with their mother and everyone sits down to enjoy the show.
Outside, Wesley chances upon the bar and sees Denise singing inside. He remembers that years ago he was the one who had kissed her at that party. Bound to her pact, he was ordered to do so by Clara. There was no significance for him at that time, and he also would not give much thought to his current mission at Kimberly Cordial's home.
Miss Cordial was not expecting him, but she confronts him nonetheless. Wesley demands "The Book" from her, which she will not give up. It comes to realization that Wesley is facing a very powerful dark witch.
Chapter 7: Villains
Much to Denise’s disdain, Cecilia begins to talk (and flirt) with one of the guests at the club, Malcolm Langraab the IV. Malcolm is the very wealthy proprietor of many clubs and large stores opening up all over the place. Denise knows him from when she was young. Malcolm had an affair with her stepmother, Abigail, which ended the marriage to Denise’s father. Oddly enough, Malcolm does not look much older than he did then. Denise forbids Cecilia to talk to Malcolm, which only makes Cecilia upset.
Meanwhile, Willow begins to feel extremely sick. She seems to be picking up on powerful magical energy forces, but everyone else thinks that its just her inability to hold liquor. Gabriel takes her home. At the same time elsewhere, Kimberly Cordial had used a powerful spell that can destroys vampires. Protected by Clara’s counterspells, Wesley feels pain but does not die much to Kimberly’s surprise and her dread. Kimberly tells him that she no longer has the Book, it's too late, the "Heir" already has it. Wesley doesn't know who or what the "Heir" is but he uses that momentum, catching Kimberly off guard and killing her.
Gabriel brings Willow back to their dorm. Willow admits she did have a fun night with Gabriel and appreciates it when Gabriel tells her that she is pretty. Unexpectedly, Gabriel kisses her before they part ways for the night. He only then realizes that he does have feelings for her.
Chapter 8: Family Ties
Even though Wesley did succeed in killing Kimberly Cordial, Clara is upset with him for not finding and bringing her the Book that Kimberly supposedly had in her possession. She lashes out at him, which enrages him but she reminds him that because of their pact they could not kill one another. Clara has another idea of who the Heir was and where she could find that book.
Very early the next morning, the police are investigating Kimberly’s mysterious death. Luis Duarte is one of the detectives working on the case with his partner Mary Gavigan. He hopes that the case was not a murder so he could rest up to drive to SSU for his son Adrian’s soccer match.
Jasmine brings Willow to the match. Adrian is doing extremely well and their team breaks a tie in their favour. Both Jasmine and Willow admire Adrian, but Willow is only really here to avoid Gabriel. She isn’t able to think of how to react to him now and what to tell him now that they’ve shared a small kiss.
During the game, one of the other team runs a foul on Adrian. Willow is bothered by this and uses her magic against the opponent, allowing Adrian a clear, uninterrupted goal. Rowan catches her and criticizes her for using her magic to cheat. Willow makes the excuse that the other player started it, and Rowan shouldn’t be hypocritical about ethics. Rowan reminds her that he didn’t expect Willow of all people to use her gifts for the wrong reason. She asks him why he’s here and he tells her that their mother was trying to reach her and it seemed important. Willow leaves with Rowan. At her dorm, she calls her mother who tells her that her old school counsellor, Miss Cordial was found dead that morning. Willow becomes upset, remembering that Miss Cordial was the one who taught her everything she had to know about magic.
Jasmine meets up with Adrian after the game to congratulate him for winning. He introduces her to his mother, Angeline, and his little brother, Angelo. Unfortunately, his father Luis, was working on a new case and couldn’t make it.
However, despite working late on it, the Mayor’s office pulls the case away from Luis and Mary and Kimberly’s death is ruled a suicide. Though Luis and Mary are suspicious of this, they could no longer do anything and leaves it up to the Mayor. However, the Mayor himself, Garret Baird (Jasmine and Cecilia’s grandfather), hadn’t realized exactly why this was done and insists on reopening the investigation and letting the police handle it. His aide tells him that this was a matter for the “Circle” now. Garret does not believe in the existence of the an organization that investigates the paranormal and protects sims from it, but he is forced to change his mind when he meets the Circle’s liaison in his office. The liaison turns out to be a white witch herself and introduces herself as “Miss Cordial. Samantha Cordial.”
Chapter 9: Flashback
Adrian comes to Willow’s dorm hoping to see if she’s okay. She isn’t home, but he meets up with Gabriel instead. Gabriel and Willow haven’t spoken in a few days and he assumed that she was avoiding him because she was embarassed of their kiss. He becomes a little upset seeing Adrian comforting an upset Willow later on.
Willow remembers how she did use to have a crush on Adrian in highschool. However, Adrian being pretty much her only friend there, she decided she didn't want to ruin it and was satisfied to stay good friends. She decides to confide in Adrian about Miss Cordial's suicide, but leaves out the fact that she is a witch. She also decides to tell him what happened the first week they had met.

The other girls had invited Willow out. She had thought that she was going to a party, but instead, they pushed her into an empty room in a condemned factory building and left her there for someone else to find later. However, somehow something went wrong and a fire started. Trapped in the room, she passed out from the smoke.
The kids had run to a local hangout to gloat about what they did to Willow. Unfortunately for them, a young Rowan was also there and overheard them. He threatened them until he found out Willow was to rescue her. He got there before she would suffocate.
Present day, Willow tells Adrian that Rowan rescued her and she suffered some emotional damage from that incident which Miss Cordial helped her through. Adrian lets her know that he'll always be there for her to help her out as well, and Willow does briefly consider being with him more than just as “friends”. But she had not told him the whole story of that night.
Rowan did get to her in time, but the fire had run rampage through the debris in the building, trapping him. At that moment, Miss Cordial magically appears and tells Willow to save her brother. Willow, spurred on by fear for her brother's life, manages to summon enough magic to make it rain enough to put the fire out. Miss Cordial then tells her, and Rowan, that Willow is also a witch.
What Willow does not see is that after she and Rowan had run off, Kimberly is joined by Clara. Clara happily tells Kimberly how her plan to scare Willow into using her powers has worked very well, but doesn't understand what the Coven sees in her. Kimberly snidely suggests if she didn't know how important Willow was, that perhaps Clara wasn't as loyal to the Coven as she seemed to be.
Chapter 10: Out of Place
Jasmine, Adrian and Willow attend a life drawing class for extra credits. Willow does well, but neither Jasmine or Adrian take to drawing and painting at all.
At the Tri-Var mansion, there is a blackout while Cecilia is in the shower. She heads out and sees a stack of books in the hallway, which she puts away. After taking only a few minutes to get dressed, she steps into the hallway and to her horror the entire hallway is littered with books. She hadn't heard anything or seen anything, so assuming that something very creepy was going on, she calls Jasmine to come and pick her up.

After the drawing class, Willow parts with Jasmine and Adrian to talk to a guy wearing a Secret Society uniform. He introduces himself as Carl and Willow tells him she's interested in the necromancy device that may be in their mansion. Carl denies the device's... and the mansion's... existence and tells her not to talk about the Secret Society.
Jasmine picks up Cecilia at the Tri-Var mansion. Cecilia, believing the place is haunted, is frightened and refuses to stay in the house by herself. Jasmine drives her back to Simtopi to stay at their father's. They are both surprised when they find Clive with a woman who is not their mother.
Clive introduces her as Clara St. Julien. Both Jasmine and Cecilia are immediately creeped out by Clara, but not as much as their dog Morrison. Unfortunately, Clara decides to "take care" of Morrison once and for all.
Chapter 11: History
A cafeteria worker comes upon a girl sleeping on a bench... or what he thought was a girl. To his horror, the creature nearly attacks him before running off, and the worker is unable to explain what he had just seen.
At a bar called The Warehouse, Gabriel is playing pool with Rowan, who had just happened to be there that night as well. Gabriel confesses to Rowan that Willow not talking to him bothers him, and Rowan correctly interprets it to mean that Gabriel has feelings for her. He can't give Gabriel any decent advice, nor does he really want to (monogamy is overrated), but does mention that Willow had had a crush on Adrian since they were kids.
Meanwhile Willow has settled in to do her homework when she is abducted for a ritual ceremony by the Landgrabb Society. Carl worked quickly to have her accepted to the Society in a few hours assuming that's what she wanted.

At the Warehouse, Rowan realizes that the singer performing on stage is Meadow Thayer, his first girlfriend and only long term relationship.
Chapter 12: Dark and Light
Short flashback: A teenaged Rowan is preparing to sneak out of the house late at night. His twin brother, Linden, catches him but he's used to it and doesn't really care. While he was heading out, Rowan sees Willow in their building hallway talking to someone. He asks her who she's talking to. She responds "Mr. Wesley" whom Rowan just assumes is her imaginary friend.
However, Wesley, hidden in the shadows and unseen by Rowan, tells Willow that she should go back in and if he caught her outside this late again, he wouldn't be happy. Willow, however, would just be happy to see Wesley again.
Rowan puts Willow back to bed and goes back out to meet his girlfriend, Meadow Thayer.
Present day, at the club, Rowan reunites with Meadow after many years. They had a difficult relationship throughout highschool and college. Meadow had stayed with him despite knowing that he was becoming distant from her and that he had started to sleep around with other people. After some time, Meadow simply left him, dropping out of college as well. Tonight would be the first time he’s seen her since then.
Meadow tells him now that it was a mistake to drop out and she wanted to finally finish college. Neither has no hard feelings towards the other and that night they decide to revisit the more physical and intimate aspect of their relationship. Rowan ditches Gabriel and heads to the back of the club with Meadow. Gabriel decides to just go home and in the morning he'll talk to Willow.
Jasmine picks up Willow from the gas station. Willow tells her a bit about the Secret Society abduction. Jasmine confides in Willow that she is upset that her father is seeing another woman and that the woman he's seeing just creeps her out. Both are taken by surprise when something walks in front of Jasmine's truck. Jasmine swerves quick to avoid it and crashes the truck into a wall, knocking Willow out. Jasmine gets up, realizes her cell phone isn't getting a signal and runs off to find help for Willow.

While Jasmine is gone, Willow wakes up and walks out of the car. She is unaware that Wesley is stalking her, only knowing her as the “Heir”, with the intent to kill her as per Clara's orders.
Chapter 13: After Hours
Willow wanders out Jasmine's crashed truck, unaware that she is being pursued by an undead figure behind her. Meanwhile, Jasmine is unsuccessful in finding any help in this near derelict part of the city. She comes across what she thinks is a homeless man only to discover it is a much more insidious creature. The undead creature attacks her. She fights it off somewhat successfully but it only gets up again and manages to overpower her.
Not far away, Willow is trying to escape from the zombie that's chasing her. It strikes her, knocking her glasses off her head. Just as the zombie closes in on her, Wesley appears behind Willow to carry out Clara's command to kill her. However as she turns around, he recognizes Willow as the young girl he had befriended many years ago. He is able to disobey Clara's orders in favour of the promise he made to Willow then: that he'd always keep her safe. In that moment, Willow sees her reflection in a discarded mirror, but she does not see Wesley's reflection. She realizes that her childhood friend is a vampire. To protect Willow, Wesley destroys the zombie in pursuit. As Wesley returns to confront Willow, again, the zombie that had attacked Jasmine appears on the same mission to kill Willow. This time, Willow is able to use her magic to destroy the zombie, revealing to Wesley that she is a witch.
To keep her safe from other possible zombies out there, Wesley drains enough of Willow's blood to knock her out so he could bring her to safety.
Chapter 14: Unrequited
Welsey brings an unconscious Willow to an old abandoned church on the outskirts of town that is being kept by another vampire who calls herself "Sibyll". He asks Sibyll if Willow could stay the night and if she could be kept safe. Sibyll would rather not deal with Clara and her problems, and is reluctant to allow Willow to stay (as well as not be able to feed on her) but will do so for Wesley.

Rowan: So what the fuck was all this about Meadow?
Meadow: I thought you of all people would figure it out. I was bored. I wanted to have some fun without the strings attached. And I thought you did too. And really, a quick screw in the back of a club doesn't mean things have to get serious.
Meadow: I thought you of all people would figure it out. I was bored. I wanted to have some fun without the strings attached. And I thought you did too. And really, a quick screw in the back of a club doesn't mean things have to get serious.
Jasmine wakes up in the hospital, with her father at her side. Clive explains to her that she was found by her truck and that she must have been knocked out during the accident. Jasmine becomes anxious when she finds out that Willow wasn't found with her.
Willow however, wakes up at the strange old church. Wesley is there with her and tells her that Jasmine is in the hospital and that she should go home while it is daylight and she’s relatively safe. She's in some disbelief that her childhood friend has turned out to be a vampire but she has no choice but to accept it.
Elsewhere, Clara is enraged that Wesley did not go through with his mission, though she knew what the risks were. She leaves her underground hidden chamber to find that the Head Warlock has paid her a visit.
Chapter 15: Closer
Malcolm Landgrabb IV, the Head Warlock of a coven of dark witches, has a conversation with Clara over brunch. She once again expresses her doubts about the Coven pinning their hopes on a novice young witch, whom they’ve named the “Heir”. Malcolm demonstrates his power and warns her of the consequences if it is discovered that she has betrayed them and has attempted to kill the Heir. He tells her despite what she believes, that the Heir is important to them and is now ready for the “second phase”.
Malcolm: I'm not in the business of buying loyalty with friendship. The truth of the matter is that I'm much more powerful than you are despite my so-called weak ancestry. Your threats don't do anything for me. I don't intend to let our plans falter because you're having an ego crisis. If the Heir is harmed by you, I swear I will throw you to the wolves.
Jasmine is recovering at the hospital where everyone believes she had simply been in a car accident. Adrian stops by to pay a friendly visit but it means more to Jasmine than he thinks.
Willow ignores Wesley’s advice to go straight home and heads to the hospital instead where she sees Gabriel in the lobby. Gabriel fills her in about Jasmine’s condition, and finally relieved Willow hugs him, apologizing for having ignored him for the past few days. However, they’re interrupted when Denise shows up and heads straight for Jasmine’s room. Gabriel, knowing that Clive is up there as well, tries to stop her.
Denise reaches Jasmine’s floor and finally confronts Clive. Clive is irrationally angry at seeing his ex-wife there trying to visit their daughter, and Gabriel arrives in time to defend Denise and tell his Uncle what he thinks of him. At that point, Willow suddenly senses an anger spell that had been cast on Clive, and thinking it’s dangerous, leaves abruptly to read up on it.
Chapter 16: Revisited

Jasmine is accompanied back to her dorm by Denise. They talk briefly about Denise’s relationship with Clive, and her single life in general before they’re distracted by Adrian. Denise senses Jasmine’s attraction to him and encourages Jasmine to go after him despite the fact that Jasmine believes that he likes Willow.
Willow, having lost her glasses, uses magic to heal her eyes so she could study her spell book which she does all afternoon, searching for the spell cast on Clive. Later that night, Gabriel manages to finally get a hold of her so they can talk. He admits to her that he does want to get closer to her, and though Willow is a little hesitant, she admits to herself that she does like him and it felt nice to have someone like her that way. And with all that had been happening, it was also nice to have someone solid and safe. They’re interrupted when Jasmine comes by to pay a visit.

Chapter 17: Shadows
Wesley remembers meeting Sibyll for the first time, when he was still human. Generations later, their relationship had waned, but on a level they still love one another. Wesley admits to Sibyll that he has to confront Clara about ending their pact, to keep Willow safe. Sibyll reluctantly lets him go. She does not tell him that she now knows who Willow is and why she is important to the Coven.
Willow and Gabriel begin their new relationship with a kiss. However, Willow has to spend the rest of the night with Jasmine to catch up on the previous night’s events. Jasmine tells her about her encounter with the zombie, and Willow confirms that there were supernatural creatures that attacked them both that night. She proceed to tell Jasmine that she is a witch and demonstrates her magic to prove it, much to Jasmine’s disbelief.
Cecilia returns to the Tri-Var mansion, though because of the previous night’s strange occurences, she’s still very frightened. Late that night, Cecilia is awakened by the very angry ghost of a former Tri-Var sorority girl.
Chapter 18: Distractions
Wesley remembers the pact he made with Clara years ago after the inadvertent death of one of his victims. Before he confronts Clara about it, he goes on a last mission to steal a special Key from the Head Warlock. The Key is guarded by a Construct, a seemingly sentient robotic figure animated by magic. It will only give up the key if its entrusted to the Heir, Willow. The Construct asks if Wesley cares for Willow and when he tells it that he does, it allows him to take the Key.

The Construct: You want the key for your own purposes. To fullfill a selfish desire of yours. But it belongs to the Heir. She will know what it opens. And when she finds it, it will be another step towards her ascendance.
Wesley: What will she inherit?
Wesley: What will she inherit?
The Construct: Everything.
Willow is distracted from her larger worries as her relationship with Gabriel continues to grow well. On her way to the library, she sees Meadow Thayer struggling with her own studies. Even though Meadow and her brother are no longer together, Willow still considers Meadow a close friend and offers to help her, which Meadow is very grateful for.Meadow has a bit of a break between classes and spends that time visiting Rowan.
Jasmine is fixing her truck and keeping herself busy to try to distract herself from the fact that Willow is a witch and that zombies had attacked them. As well, it's been bothering her that Adrian had been acting upset after he found out that Willow and Gabriel are now together. Cecilia, avoiding staying at the Tri-Var mansion because of the angry ghost, tries to confide in Jasmine about it. Jasmine doesn't disbelieve her but acts annoyed and ambivalent, which upsets Cecilia.
Chapter 19: Night Life
Malcolm Landgraab IV's new night club, Club Divine, has a VIP opening which is attended by Clive and Cecilia seperately. Clive, who is a direct business rival of Malcolm's, is attending with Clara, and after listening to Malcolm's speech, decides to leave.

Clive heads over to a jazz bar where Denise is playing. Inconspicuously, he enjoys seeing and listening to her again before something in him reminds him that she was just another gold-digger who cheated on him and left his family. He leaves with Denise never knowing he was there.
Rowan spends the evening at his neighbourhood bar, already passed out from drunkenness. Sibyll uses this chance to try to use her vampire charm to seduce him. However, before the charm could take effect, Rowan is reminded of Meadow and manages to resist her. Sibyll is then the subject of unwanted attention from one of the other patrons. Rowan, already drunk and needing a distraction, gets in a fight with that patron, and ends up being arrested, making Sibyll lose her chance at him that night.
Cecilia spends all night trying to catch Malcolm's attention. Unable to do so, she ends up by herself, but does meet Wesley at the bar.
Later that night Wesley finally confronts Clara about breaking the pact. She knows he has the Key he stole from Malcolm, but she doesn’t care what it is until she finds out what it opens. She tells Wesley that she’ll break the pact as soon as he finds that out as well as brings her Willow’s spellbook. Clara leaves as Wesley is joined by the Cecilia. Wesley, who had been deliberately starving himself, is unable to resist any further and feeds on Cecilia, only enough to make her pass out. Long after Wesley has gone, Cecilia is later rescued by Malcolm who uses his magic to restore her.
Chapter 20: Innocence
Willow remembers being an eager young pupil of witchcraft and given her special spellbook by Kimberly Cordial on the day of her birthday.

Willow: I have my own spell book?
Kimberly: Yes. It's a very special book Willow. Keep it safe and don't let it fall into the wrong hands. You will learn everything you need to know from this Book, whether you are aware of it or not.
Kimberly: Yes. It's a very special book Willow. Keep it safe and don't let it fall into the wrong hands. You will learn everything you need to know from this Book, whether you are aware of it or not.
After spending some time with Gabriel, she heads off to class but is preoccupied with the mystery of Clive’s spell. After classes, she bumps into Adrian, who walks her to the library. Once there, Adrian expresses how he feels about Willow by trying to kiss her. She refuses, telling him that she’s with Gabriel. Once he heads home, Willow is joined by Wesley who had been observing the exchange a short distance away.
Willow, stressed out by the previous events, lashes out at Wesley taking him by surprise. Wesley also was about to give Willow the Key he had stolen from the Construct, but knowing that Clara wants to know what the key opens, he hesitates in giving it to her.
Wesley and Willow are interrupted by Samantha Cordial, who appears and attempts to bring Wesley to justice for killing Kimberly Cordial, her sister.
Chapter 21: Odds and Ends
Rowan is released from jail the next morning. He steps outside and is unexpectedly greeted by his brother, Linden.
Jasmine is waiting at an auto shop in Bluewater Village while her ex-boyfriend, Kyle, works on her truck. While waiting, she decides to walk around the neighbourhood for a moment. She can't help recalling her last encounter with Adrian, how she had become overly aggressive towards him during a supposedly harmless sparring match. She recognizes that she had let her feelings get the better of her and regrets the way she's acted.

She finds herself at an eccentric shop owned by Wanda Tinker. Wanda tries to explain to Jasmine about how spells and potions work when Jasmine casually asks about "anger spells" such as the one Willow thinks has been cast on her father. The two are interrupted by Wren and Raven when they make a brash appearance at the shop.
Frustrated by the boys constantly accusing her of witchcraft, Wanda has her daughter Melody deal with them instead. Jasmine, sympathetic to Wanda's reaction to Wren and Raven, tries to distract them away by giving them a task to find out as much as they could about her father's new girlfriend, Clara. For a hundred simoleons and free dinner, the boys agree.
