When we last left Elf Marlen, she had just graduated from University and broken up with Clive the night before. Unfortunately, her family heard all about it. Lin Lin, Elf's mother, didn't take too kindly to the news.
Clive Baird became one of her least favourite people.
"I'll tell you about Clive Baird! He's a jerk who cheated on my daughter!"
Elf was good though. She was enjoying the single life.
She scored a nice condo in an old restoration building.
There to help her pay the rent was Michael Salazar, her roomie from college.
Michael is a fortune Sim and very keen on making money. He's pretty hip though for a guy in a suit.
Of course, she keeps in touch with her other friends from college, like Audrey White.
And her family as well.
Elf doesn't do much with her single life except make music.
She's used to sleeping alone.
But she won't be alone for too much longer. She's taking it easy with her life and her career, but that didn't stop her from getting in touch with an old friend.
Colin McLean lived on the other side of town. When he saw Elf walking by coincidentally on the day he moved in, he figured it was a good time to reconnect. And this time, she was single.
Elf and Colin were finally together after all this time. Elf asked Colin to move in and he agreed.
Elf no longer had to sleep alone.
The couple were happy together. Michael eventually moved to another suite in the building with his fiance and for a while it was just Colin and Elf...
.. for a while.
After a really difficult pregnancy, Elf gave birth to Rowan Marlen...
... and Linden Marlen. Twins! Apparently it runs in the family.
Their family was happily growing. Maybe it's time to take the next step. It's what Colin wants. But whether Elf wanted to was a different matter.
