Honestly, I did think about going a little darker with Tiffany and Heather. I played around with Tiffany pushing Brittany in or Heather doing it, or both, or both of them premeditating the murder to make it look like an accident... but in the end I went with this because if I had to go into that kind of stuff, it would have needed more than a few slides, the way I tell stories. ;) And like you say, I've got a lot of other characters whose lives I need to mess up who I'm sure most of my readers would rather read about ;) .
And it's also good to be done with Brittany. I did need to move along, and Cecilia and Jasmine's mother is going to be a part of that.
As for Malcolm, he's still around and yes he and Cecilia are due for a "reunion".
