SimTopi Founders: The Marlens

Desmond Marlen is the patriarch of this family. As the story goes, his parents travelled the country in a beat up van, making their living by performing on the streets and doing odd jobs like working in the kitchens of various restaurants. They finally settled in a nearby commune where Desmond and his little brother, Nate, grew up. When Desmond was a teenager, he decided to move out of the commune and pursue his own living. He made enough money to buy a house near the outskirts of New SimTopi, by the hills. Nate moved in with him soon afterwards.
