I've read - and re-read this (lost count of how many times I did) and I am at a loss for words. This is more than beautifully done - more than ah-mazing even! if another word for this gets invented, I'll use that. In the mean time, I might settle for those two.
I would slightly disagree with Mr. Otto: happy endings are overrated. I'm more interested in what happens after that. I'd love to criticize the King for being so shallow-minded, vain and ungrateful, or the Crone (a.k.a Songstress) for being stupid enough to try confronting or reasoning with her evil sister...(can't think of anything else to blame her for, except for delivering what she promised) I could even blame the Queen just for being herself, and for not taking her Sorceress Sister's words/threat/curse serious enough. But it's all human nature, or in this case: Sim-nature.
Wake up, Sage. Please. And Willow, stop stealing his light already [I assumed that].
Controversial as it seems, I like Mr. Otto! He's weird in a weird way.
PS: I found Simtopi a while back, and just recently got the time to read every single chapter. I'm definitely hooked.
