Ok. I love the way you started with Wesley and Mr Ricci, showed where and why. I love the way you mix up time and go right for it - the reminder about Willow and Wesley. Then switch back again. It's hard to make that work but you do make it work.
I am very very glad you retain Wesley's basic character and personality. He's neither a hero nor a villain, not some broody neurotic case with fangs but someone who has gone through a transformation, dealt with it, made mistakes, but he is still who he is.
Willow remains my favorite character. Her relationship with Gabriel may not go anywhere (is it going anywhere?). She's young. She's emotional. And she's loyal.
I liked the ending although I'm not quite sure what it means. But it was a quiet and strange space, like stepping out of time completely.
Have to add that the way you've chosen to write, dialog like a script, is wonderful! Think I said that before but I'm saying it again.
