Great chapter. I know your post talking about being worried people will get bored with the details was a little bit ago, but I just wanted to say, I think the details really make the story. If I didn't know details about the characters, I wouldn't care about them.
I was wondering when the construct would come back into play. She's beautiful, like something out of a 1920s science fiction movie. Metropolis, or the like.
