And to #9 of this week's secrets, like I said in the comments, I have been working on chapter 52. Things have been kind of crazy for me the past little while, and I still have major issues, but I'd like to get back to my story and finish it at least for myself. I hope I'll still have an audience. >_>

But enough about me. I'm going through my f-list hoping to catch up and I have read a few updates that I should have read the day they came out, LOL. But like I said, I'm catching up. I know there's a few of you who've recently friended me. So here's the thing: tell me about you! What's up in your parts of the world? How do you like your sims? What are you doing with them? Do you have a challenge or a story on the go? Who'll win in a celebrity kung fu death match - Don Lothario or PT Smith?

If you're new around these parts, please do introduce yourself. If you've been around, tell me what you're up to!

I don't think you'll have to worry about losing your audience. ;) Not one bit.

Thank you, I appreciate this. I don't want to be coy about it, I do enjoy telling my story to people. :)

You still have me! I need to catch up, too, so I'll be here for a while. XD

I'm also not new, but... my part of the world is pretty good! Aside from being America, that is, and full of obnoxious politics. I'm expecting a baby (eeeeeeeeeeee) so that makes it easier to ignore the nonsense going on! I like my sims fried with a side of toast--I mean--I play a game based in the late 18th and early 19th centuries which is currently the home of my legacy challenge. Also, PT Smith would absolutely win. Don would be too busy checking out the *ladies* in the crowd. :P

I hope you're doing well!

Thank you! And omg I didn't know you were expecting, that's so wonderful!! :D Yep, definitely ignore the sims community drama because you have way more important things to deal with right now.

And ah, the US elections... I don't have much sway in it, and I'm full of opinions myself, but what do I know, I'm Canadian. ;) I still love your legacy. I do believe I've actually caught up too (unless you posted again in the last couple of months... runs to check)

Haha, poor Don. I'd hope in a death match he doesn't get that easily distracted...

Hee, I didn't know you were reading! Thanks! The last update was May I think. I've been on an unofficial hiatus all summer due to lovely pregnancy symptoms. XD

I would definitely still read it :)

As for me, after beating my usual autumn pneumonia, I'm slowly getting back into the sims community. I'm also (slowly) working a Dragon Scroll chapter. It will be the final one and I want it out before I continue Fallen. Because I know I'll never write it if I don't do it now. I don't want the ending to be rushed, so it probably won't be out until the end of the month. But we'll see :)

And I totally think PT would beat Don, when the going get's tough he'll just summon his alien buddies to "occupie" Don for a little while XD

Thank you Keoni. And I'd read your stories too. I'm so looking forward to the Dragon Scroll update, but I'm a little sad to hear it's ending. Please don't rush it, it's worth your care! It's such a good story! And I read Fallen too just today, and so far I'm loving it.

And another one for PT! Though summoning help... totally weak, PT! XD

Hey there! I've been around a little. I have a baby now, which is a little bit of a change in my life, to say the least. :) Things are going well.

I hope the craziness of your life calms down soon. And wow, you're up to chapter 52? Congrats on getting that far. That's no small achievement. I'm sure you'll get back into it if your want to finish it. Your audience isn't going anywhere. ^_^

And PT would win, for sure. He's got a coupon for that. ;)

Yes, I saw the Tomato update! It was so neat to see your Ripp avatar when I was scrolling through my f-list. I imagine you have a lot better things to deal with now then the sometimes dramaland that is the sims comm. I'm glad you're around too. I hope you and the little tomatoling are doing well! :)

I have to go at my pace, which is a little limited to other adult-type responsibilities right now, but I do badly want to finish this story. It was such a project and if no one else reads it at least I can say I finished it. (Though it is nice that people are reading it still. :D)

It looks like PT is winning the death match so far, lol!

Hi, Mela!! Glad to see you're back (with a great new apartment ;) )
Nothing new here, I don't create much and I haven't play TS2 for ages... But, I play TS3! I promised myself I wouldn't leave my poor sims 2 for sims 3, I'm weak^^

What about you?

Hi hi! :D I like the sims comm. There's a lot about it here (especially on LJ) that I miss. :) I totally understand why you'd hop on to TS3, I do think it's a fun game. :D

Life still feels like it's transitioning for me. I'm trying to get back to business and trying to open myself up socially. I'm also settling nicely into my apartment, so I'm happy for that. As for sims, I've just been working on the chapter, I haven't had much chance to play yet. But working on the story is play... I think. :D

Of course you'll still have an audience! Your story is so awesome, I'm pretty sure their won't be many people who'll stop reading it! :)

I guess I'm a little new. :P My name is Anne, so you can call me that ;) I'm from the Netherlands and I've been on LJ for a few years now, but I was/am part of the Dutch community mainly and have got a Dutch legacy going on as wel. However, since I started university September last year, I haven't been exactly active. Part of that has to do with the fact that I'm majoring in English, and it's quite hard to write a Dutch story (although it is my first language) when all you do all day is writing in English :P So any new projects will be in English. I'd really like to start an English story here on LJ, but I just can't find the time in between my studies and real life. Which kind of sucks, because I really love to write stories, and I like the community here, although I haven't been really active yet.

I do play a lot of Sims still. I'm currently busy with an Apocalypse challenge (which is a lot of fun!) and I also recently built an entire neighbourhood full of houses, community lots and appartments, which I plan on playing with as well. Then there is my (sort of plotted) legacy which I haven't played in quite a while, but to which I'm actually loading as we speak :) And I've got a Build a City Challenge somewhere as well :P

Wow, lots of rambling, sorry! :)

Thank you :). I should say that it is absolutely okay if people stop reading it for whatever reason, I really don't hold it against them. I think there's still a lot of other sim stuff that we can still talk about. :D I do like knowing that my work gets read, so thank you.

I think you've been commenting a while, no? In any case, hello Anne! I think it's so cool that you're writing a story in English. I don't speak any other language other than english sad to say. I know what you mean about finding time. I don't seem to have a lot of that these days. But when you do write a story, I'd love to check it out, sims or not.

I recently added you...but I was reading your story before I even joined LJ. I love your story and how all the characters have seperate stories that weave together. Meadow's story hits close to home for me because I too am raising the baby of a man I loved dearly, who has never met the baby. And my daughter was sick in the hospital. Only unlike Rowan, my ex is totally aware that somewhere out there he has a kid. So you are not losing me as your audience. You keep pulling me in.

Anyhow...I've been making over lots of Maxis sims because that's all I have time for since I'm chasing after a 10 month old. I am also trying to build my own neighbourhood, but it's coming slowly...

And PT Smith would totally beat Don. Don wouldn't want to mess up his hair or something. Plus PT has those awesome male impregnation powers. :p

Hi! Thank you for adding me! I'll check out your LJ for sure. Thank you very much about my story. Meadow was kind of a tricky character to write for me and I appreicate your comment about her. I wanted to do Meadow as a single mom justice, and it was so hard for me to write Sage in the hospital (even if it was a spell). I can only imagine that kind of pain for the mother. I hope your daughter is better or at least out of the hospital now. I'm sorry to hear that she was sick!

Building neighbourhoods is really fun! I'm not much of a sim make-over type player, but I love building hoods and lots. Take your time, and have lots of fun with it!

LOL, and this might be the first I hear of a fight being won because an opponent was pollinated! XD

Hey, take your time.

Got out of the hospital yesterday after only being in what, 30 hours or so - including the surgery. I am doing good, building some more houses and once I can get to the library (mom's connection stinks for uploading files) I'll have them up with pics for y'all to play with. More victorians, and also trying my hand at some 50s ranch types or split-levels.

sims-wise - mainly just been building and not playing. One of the doors I downloaded had an issue, and I had to spend a couple of days getting rid of it (still never did find out which one it was - probably that screen door, since once I removed it, the issue disappeared) before I could play and build. My self-sim has started a home-bakery - my first foray into the Open for Business arena of game play. It's not easy, but it is fun.

I miss not having the internet at home, because I miss out on a lot of the sims community stuff. But I'm still here, just in a reduced capacity.

I'm sorry to have heard that you were in the hospital. Are you feeling better? I know surgery isnt evver fun.

I'm thinking of fixing up my city, adding many of CuriousB's ts3 building conversions. I love your lots and would love to see them in my game. Your queen Anne still doesnt have a family, but it looks so nice!

I think OFB is so much fun. But i find that unless you cheat, it takes a lot of time to play. Youre not just running the business, you have to manage the sims lives too. I hope you have fun with it! At least we can play without the internet :p

I worked on it yesterday! It made me happy, because it was the only free day I had in a while.
